A mobile application geared toward users with a pet (cats and dogs). It's main features include: creating a pet profile, finding pet-friendly locations near you, daily health check-ins with data tracking reports, and social community boards.

Problem
As of January 2024, over 66% of Americans having a cat or dog in the household. Nearly half of pets adopted from shelters are returned within one year (data published July 2024). WHAT! Why is this happening?
There are many reasons why pets could be returned. But the overwhelming idea behind returns could be due to new pet parents not having the support and/or tools to understand their pet to confidently care for them.
Goals
Research how to educate pet owners, build a community, reduce stressors and increase ease for pet care.
Users should be able to discover pet breed, understand personality, track health and behaviors, reduce stressors, connect with community, build bond with pet. These factors can all contribute to better pet care and increased pet owner confidence.

Revealed there are few resources to learn about your pet’s personality, track daily habits, find pet-friendly locations, and interact with the pet-owner community all in one space. And no current apps which include cats!
